Ned Snyder IV, MD
Dr. Ned Snyder IV is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon serving patients in Austin, Round Rock, and the surrounding Central Texas area. He founded Snyder Plastic Surgery at the Breast and Body Center of Austin, where he has practiced cosmetic and reconstructive surgery for more than two decades, and leads Austin Tummy Tuck Center, where his practice concentrates specifically on abdominoplasty and the procedures that complement it.

Education and Training
Dr. Snyder is a native of Waco, TX, and graduated as salutatorian of his class at Waco High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts through the Plan II Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin in 1996, then received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in 2000, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society - an honor reserved for the top-performing students in a graduating medical school class.
He completed his plastic surgery residency at UTMB's Department of Surgery in Galveston, TX, then traveled to Ghent, Belgium, for a fellowship in perforator flaps and DIEP flap breast reconstruction under Professor Philip Blondeel, a globally recognized microsurgeon at the Universiteit Gent. This fellowship placed Dr. Snyder among a small group of surgeons trained directly in some of the most technically demanding reconstructive techniques in plastic surgery.

Dr. Snyder is married to Dr. Renee Snyder, a dermatologist, and they have three children together. The family has lived and worked in the Austin community for the majority of his career, and Dr. Snyder remains active in local medical and philanthropic organizations, including his ongoing work with Austin Smiles and the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Austin.
